Split-Online ShovelCam Fragmentation Analysis

Split Engineering has developed a special system for installation on cable shovels. The Split-Online® ShovelCam™ system automatically acquires images of fragmentation bucket-by-bucket and averages a size distribution curve for each truckload.

The Split-Online ShovelCam system uses the Split-Online Fragmentation Analysis module for particle size. In addition, the system employs VB scripting for trigger and data communication and has advanced imaging algorithms for shadow removal and bucket-in-image correction. See gallery of image examples.
