| Split-Online®
is an automated digital image analysis system designed to
operate continuously and monitor locations suitable for permanently
installed cameras. Split-Online runs continuously and can
capture images from one or more cameras at a time interval
preset by the user or when signaled by a switch.
The Split-Online software architecture is object oriented.
The processing steps are individual .dll components linked
to execute as a chain of events to analyze images, and generate
and deliver output data. The chain of dlls is called a channel.
There are no arbitrary limits on the number of channels that
can be created and executed.
There are various categories of components that can be implemented
into a channel. The first is initiation: this can be a timer,
relay or immediate trigger. The second is acquisition: these
are set to captures images from a live video source or from
saved files. The third is pre-processing: this is the image
processing step where images are dynamically altered for future
process and analysis. The fourth category is processing: this
is where the image is modified into a delineated image or
classified into a group. The fifth category is analysis: this
is where the information desired from the image is extracted.
The final category is outputs: this includes text files, serial
strings, ODBC, OPC and analog outputs. All are user customized
via a drag-n-drop interface and connected via LAN to make
data available to other systems. Split-Online runs under Windows
2000 or XP Professional. |
