Split Engineering has its roots in measuring rock fragmentation in the mining industry. The resultant fragmentation is related to the characteristics of the original rock mass. For automated, unbiased analysis of rock masses, Split Engineering is developing Split-FX™. The Split-FX software is important to Split Engineering's existing customers in the mining industry, but also is important to all engineers working in a geo- and rock mechanics capacity.
